Elementals is a sci-fi fantasy novel and the first book I have written.
The novel starts following a teenage boy who arrives home from school one day to find his village has been decimated and his father dead. His father's last words lead him to an old friend and they set out on a journey for revenge. Along the way they find that their village was not an isolated incident and towns and cities across the world have been destroyed by the unknown invaders.
During their journey they are joined by other survivors who look to them for leadership and quickly they build a resistance against their enemies.
Two rival species of Elementals have arrived on earth to use it as a breeding ground for soldiers to feed the war that rages between them. They do not care about the natives and use them simply as a resource.
The remaining humans find themselves thrust into the middle of a war that is not theirs and are battling for survival. Finally a group of survivors sets out to take revenge and attempt to eradicate the aliens that have infested the planet.
You’ll notice while reading Elementals that the writing style develops and deepens as the story progresses. Whilst this was a function of my own maturing between the ages of 14 and 17, it also mirrors the growing strength and confidence of the characters within the story, which I hope you’ll agree works well.The book is available on kindle, and also available in paperback form at selected bookshops in England.
